Incident Management

The process for managing an event or an issue to prevent it from becoming a crisis.

Serious Incidents

An event or issue that has the potential to impact people, operations, products and our reputation which requires a prompt, coordinated response beyond normal business processes.

A development which is escalating which has the potential to impact people, operations, products and our reputation

Emergency Response Procedures

The set of documented procedures for responding at site, country and sector level to defined emergency situations

 

 

Crisis Management

Crisis Management leads the prompt and effective response to potential crisis events occurring anywhere in an organisation.

A Crisis

Involves potential or actual loss of life or serious injury to customers, employees, or others affected by your organisation.

Causes significant damage to your organisation’s assets, necessitating at least a temporary interruption of normal operation at the affected facility.

Potentially significant adverse effects on an organisations operations, reputation, or financial results.

 

 

Disaster Management

The activities undertaken to manage the short , medium and long term effects of a disaster.

Disaster Declaration

The decision to declare a disaster which requires the complete evacuation of the site and relocation of functions and services

Disaster Recovery

The actions taken to recovery the loss of a single system or process as incorporated in the business continuity plan

Disaster

An event declared by Crisis Management, that results in the total loss either temporarily or permanently of your facility’s function, calling upon a Business Continuity Management process.
